Google Wallet is a new mobile application which allows you to pay using your smartphone. It allows NFC enabled phones to pay through your mobile phone.

How it works?
Did you know about NFC? It is called Near Field Communications. It has been already used for a long time in various MaterCard devices called Paypass. It has the same function as the Google Wallet. Google has just brought the said service to your mobile phones.
It will support these cards:
- Citi MasterCard
- Google Prepaid Card
- Gift cards at participating merchants
Potential of Google Wallet
At the mean time, a few of people will only be able to use it when it finally launches. It is still limited to a number of stores (which is shown below). But we are sure that it will grow big in the coming months and years.
Where it works?
To make it short, it is a digital version of your credit card. It will work in a number of merchants or stores like Guess, CVS, Radio shack and more.
