1. Cool your computer

If you’re computer is really hot, or even in the extent of being overheat, it will really spin your fans crazy. Make sure that you let the heat escape.

Cooling it already may solve the problem. Please take note that computers/laptops will malfunction if you can’t control the temperature.

2. Clean your fan/s (literally)

Your fan may be covered with dust and other impediments. So carry your cleaning tools to get rid of this but be sure to turn off the computer before opening your computer.

3. Lubricate your fans

4. For advanced users only…

Use tools to manually slow your fans. Example of such tools are Speedfan and smcFanControl. Please take note that it is only for advanced users. If you done this without any knowledge that it may overheat, then your computer is at risk.
