Apple announced that their Mac App Store will be opened on January 6 2011. It is be a new feature of Mac OS X Lion which will be available to users later in 2011.

Why open such?

The idea of opening a Mac App Store is to help the users in (1) finding, (2) installing and (3) updating apps on iOS devices on Mac OS X. Mac App Store will have a way to (4) walk you through the installation and application discovery processes and (5) keeping them synced to various machines.
