Kansas City is the place that Google chose to use their new ultra-high speed fiber optic network technology that will give a stunning internet speed of 1 GB per second.
They will be the first to surf he Web at speeds of around 1 gigabit (GB) per second, which translates to 100 times faster than the average Internet connection in America. Kansas City is one out of the 1,100 cities across the U.S. that have been trying to convince Google.
It will be available to local organizations, universities, and companies to show that it has the potential to revolutionize the way people use the internet. It is set to begin next year.
