Google bought BeatThatQuote.com for $61.5 million. It is known as the fastest growing price comparison site in UK.

Managing Director John Paleomylites said that their team is excited about becoming a part of Google. “We look forward to working with their engineers to create new tools making it easier for consumers to choose the right financial products. We think we can offer more transparency and better pricing information than existing online offerings.”, he added.

It is also reported that Google will use the site as its guide in UK financial products market which the largest search engine can use for its mobile shopping applications.
